Environmental Consulting Services

Future Link Technologies, Inc. (FLT) is owned and operated by Latrice Hertzler, Environmental Consultant. FLT is a certified Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), woman owned business and Disadvantaged Business (DBE) that has provided environmental consulting, reviews and technology services for small businesses and local governments since 2002. There are no plans to change operations at this time.

FLT clients include state and local governments, engineering firms, waste disposal companies and small private firms seeking assistance with environmental matters.  Our environmental services include consulting and project management, strategic planning, risk assessments, Phase I – III environmental assessments, feasibility studies, wetlands delineations, archeology and cultural studies, asbestos and lead paint studies, environmental and other permitting, compliance assistance and environmental auditing. We provide project management, technical consulting and technology solutions that facilitate complete environmental solutions where quality controls and feedback loops provide ongoing sources of information about the project. Some of our area specialties include solid waste, water quality, remediation and cleanup.  We also have experience with public outreach for planning initiatives regarding air, drinking water and waste issues.

FLT’s legislative and regulatory knowledge ensures our environmental reviews are consistent with current environmental regulations and law as identified by TCEQ, EPA, USACOE, or other regulatory agents.  Some of these include Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA, or Superfund), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and Emergency Planning and Right-To-Know-Act (EPCRA).

Our philosophy is to utilize technology wherever possible to augment manual processes, to expedite activities, reduce error, and provide the quality assurances needed for highly detailed projects. This means FLT uses its technology expertise to identify and implement software and hardware solutions where possible to improve environmental assessment activities.
